The Cal State Northridge baseball team’s three-game Western Athletic Conference-opening series at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo was postponed because of rain. A Cal Poly spokesman said the games have not been rescheduled, and that one or more could be played at Northridge.
Northridge (13-8) is not scheduled to play again until Friday at Cal State Sacramento.
The inclement weather also affected the scheduling of various high school baseball and softball games throughout the region.
The Simi Valley and Hart softball tournaments have been postponed until March 18, and most of Saturday’s San Fernando baseball tournament games will be rescheduled by the participating schools next week.
The Thousand Oaks vs. Lompoc nonleague baseball doubleheader will be played 2 p.m. Tuesday at Thousand Oaks High.
