Volunteers are needed to help judge hundreds of entries for this year’s Ventura County Science Fair, officials said Monday.
The fair will be held April 25 to 27 in the Commercial Building at the Ventura County Fairgrounds. It is open to public and private school students in grades six through 12.
There were 805 entries last year, and more are expected this year, said Dennis Lang, chairman of the fair.
Adult volunteers, particularly retired teachers, are needed to judge the entries, Lang said.
The biggest need is for judges in the zoology and botany categories, he said.
For more information, call Lang at 388-4411.
