PREP SOFTBALL 1995: PREVIEW : ORANGE COUNTY: 1994 IN REVIEW

Alison Johnsen

The Woodbridge senior was selected the county’s player of the year by The Times Orange County after batting .619 with 53 stolen bases, 38 runs and 12 RBIs from the leadoff spot during 26 regular-season games. Johnsen finished her career with a Southern Section record 196 steals, and might have topped 200 if not for a midseason concussion that kept her out of two games. She signed a letter of intent to play outfield for NCAA champion Arizona.
