The Laguna Playhouse will hold its third annual Academy Awards Night party Monday at the Moulton Theater in Laguna Beach to benefit the playhouse and Brandy’s Friends, an alcohol- and drug-abuse program for teen-agers. The Oscar broadcast will be carried on a giant screen; special awards will be handed out in such categories as “bad hair,” “worst-dressed celebrity” and “worst acceptance speech,” and there will be free hot dogs, baked potatoes and popcorn and a no-host bar.
