Christina Mazurie
Rancho Santiago, Sophomore
Softball/Shortstop
There is little question that Mazurie, from Foothill High, is one of the top players in Southern California. She is hitting .418 and holds the Rancho Santiago career record for stolen bases with 28. She was eight for 10 last week, including seven consecutive hits, as the Dons won two of three games. She capped her week by hitting for the cycle in a 10-1 victory over Saddleback in which she drove in two runs and scored two. Her streak of seven consecutive hits ended Monday when she grounded out against Irvine Valley.

Deborah Goddu
* Cypress, freshman. Goddu (6-2) pitched a one-hitter as the Chargers beat Orange Coast, 8-0.
