Rison Agrees to Be Richest Receiver Ever

Andre Rison has agreed to a five-year, $17-million contract with the Cleveland Browns that makes him the highest-paid receiver in NFL history, and he reportedly is trying to bring a few friends along.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution said Thursday that Rison agreed to a contract that included a signing bonus of $5 million. The Browns said only that they were getting closer to an agreement.
The Cleveland Plain Dealer said Rison has called Houston running back Lorenzo White, a former Michigan State teammate, and that the Browns talked to Falcon defensive tackle Mel Agee, another friend of Risen.
