Farewell Planned for Departing Police Chief

A farewell reception will take place April 20 for Pasadena Police Chief Jerry Oliver, who has resigned to become police chief of Richmond, Va.
The reception will be held from 5 to 7:30 p.m. in front of police headquarters at 207 N. Garfield.
The public is invited to write personal notes for a keepsake box to be given to Oliver. Those messages should be directed to Jaylene Moseley at 1040 Lincoln Ave., Pasadena, 91103, by Monday.
