Oxley Wins Main Event at Speedway

COSTA MESA — Brad Oxley of San Juan Capistrano won the 25-lap Cirello main event of the weekly speedway motorcycle racing program in front of 3,,812 Friday night at the Orange County Fairgrounds.
Charlie Venegas of San Bernardino was second in the 12-rider field. Mike Faria of Apple Valley was third and Jim Estes of Topanga finished fourth.
