FAITHFUL TROUPE

Kudos to Calendar and Janice Arkatov for putting the spotlight on Alan Johnson and his very talented comrades at the Actors Co-Op (“Scenes of Celebration,” May 7).

It is refreshing to see such humble people (of bold convictions) getting the attention they so well deserve. Their tasteful selection of redemptive material is a case study for other Christians in the arts who desire to influence their world for good--without reducing art to proselytizing propaganda.
