LOS ALAMITOS : Ah Sigh Recovers From Bumping to Win La Primera Del Ano Derby

As expected, Ah Sigh won the $102,000 La Primera Del Ano Derby Saturday night at Los Alamitos.
The filly broke inward from post position No. 9, bumping hard against Shiney Miles. But Ah Sigh, ridden by jockey John Creager, recovered and won by half a length in 19.93 seconds, paying $2.20 to win.
A Dash Of Beduino won Friday night’s $91,500 El Primero Del Ano Derby in 19.94 seconds.
