Circuit City May Expand Auto Sales: The electronic superstore chain began selling used cars in late 1993 at its CarMax Auto Superstore in Richmond, Va., where the company is headquartered. In the last three months, Circuit City Superstores Inc. opened its first two stores in Atlanta to test the idea in a major market. Circuit City Chief Executive Richard Sharp said the company will probably decide whether to expand its CarMax chain within 18 to 24 months.
