Striking Boeing Union Files Labor Complaints: Members of Boeing Co.’s largest union, the Machinists, announced that they had filed two complaints of unfair labor practices with the National Labor Relations Board and that they plan to file a third today in an effort to get the aerospace company to return to the bargaining table. No negotiations were scheduled between Seattle-based Boeing and the union, whose members last week overwhelmingly rejected a proposed three-year contract. Boeing officials said they stand by their offer.
