Panel to Look at Value of the Arts

“Inspiring Encounters: Making a Difference for the Community Through Art and Education” is the subject of a panel on Friday morning at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art.
The program, sponsored by ArtTable, a professional organization of women in the arts, will highlight nine diverse arts education programs in Southern California.
Scheduled from 9 a.m.-1:30 p.m. in the museum’s Dorothy Collins Brown Auditorium, the proceedings will begin with keynote speaker Caroline Ahmanson, a LACMA trustee and longtime arts advocate, followed by presentations from the Galef Institute, L.A.’s Best, Inner-City Arts and the J. Paul Getty Museum, among other organizations.
A $15 registration fee includes a box lunch.
