* In a time of economic, social and political stress, it is wonderful to relate an experience that was a reminder of what is truly right with life in Orange County.
Over 600 people, of diverse faiths and cultures, attended the Jewish National Fund dinner Oct. 1. There was a tremendous spirit of cooperation, understanding and respect between the people in the room, whatever their individual faith, whatever their individual background.
With so much violence, hostility and conflict in our society, it was indeed a delightful portrait of the good within us.
