Mrs. Dole to Take Leave

WASHINGTON — Elizabeth Hanford Dole is taking a year’s leave as president of the American Red Cross to join her husband’s presidential campaign, but she said Monday she will reclaim her job if Senate Majority Leader Bob Dole (R-Kan.) is elected next year.
