LA PALMA : Parade to Mark City’s 40th Anniversary

A parade celebrating La Palma Days as well as the city’s 40th anniversary will be at 10:15 a.m. Saturday on Walker Street.
Because the city was incorporated in 1955, city officials said, the parade’s theme will be 1950s nostalgia.
Streets along the route between Houston and La Palma avenues will be closed during the parade, which is expected to end at noon.
