Hormel to Sell Indian Foods: Hormel Foods Corp., best known for its meat product Spam, has formed a venture to sell curries, chutneys, pickles and other Indian food products in the United States. The venture, Patak’s Food USA, was set up with Patak Spices Ltd. of Britain. Terms were not disclosed. Hormel said Patak is recognized as the leading Indian foods brand internationally and is the second-largest and fastest-growing brand in Britain.
