Man Recovering From Stab Wounds

A Ventura man who was stabbed three times by several men was listed in stable condition Thursday, officials at Ventura County Medical Center said.
Paul Dupree, 39, was stabbed in the back about 3 a.m. Thursday in Ventura near Ventura Avenue and Main Street, police said.
Dupree told police he was attacked by five men whose identities he did not know. Police said there were no witnesses.
