Until recently movie companies stashed their cartoon units in nondescript buildings buried deep inside the studio lots. But with the jump-start of feature animations in the late ‘80s, all that changed. A hop, skip and jump around town reveals a Saturday morning’s worth of ‘toon luminaries. Dopey, Felix and Bugs--not to mention Yogi, Elmer and Sylvester--now share equal billing with their real-life star pals.
