Brinks, Inc. offered a $100,000 reward Wednesday for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the March 27 shooting attack on one of its armored trucks in Woodland Hills.
Although no money was stolen during the incident, the Brinks truck driver was cut by flying glass after gun shots shattered the truck’s windshield. “Hopefully, this will stimulate some leads for police,” said Brinks spokesman Marven Moss.
Police are still investigating the motive for the attack. The Darien, Conn.-based transportation security company has not disclosed the identity of the injured driver.
The reward offer will expire July 4. Anyone with information on the case should call the LAPD robbery-homicide division at (213) 485-0780 days or (213) 485-2504 on nights and weekends.
