Star Technologies Sold

LAGUNA HILLS — Western Micro Technology Inc., based in Campbell, Calif., reached an agreement in principle to acquire substantially all the assets of Star Technologies, a Laguna Hills distributor and manufacturer of computer systems, for about $950,000.

Star Technologies has revenue of more than $7 million a year, Western Micro said.

The transaction is expected to close in November.
