Blacklist Era Subject of Film, Discussion

Screenwriter Walter Bernstein will be on hand at the Writers Guild of America, 135 S. Doheny Drive, Beverly Hills, tonight at 7 for a screening of the 1976 comedy about the blacklist era, “The Front,” and a discussion of his book “Inside Out: A Memoir of the Blacklist.” Bernstein wrote the screenplay for “The Front,” which was directed by Martin Ritt and stars Zero Mostel and Herschel Bernardi, all of whom were blacklisted in the 1950s.
Abraham Polonsky will moderate the discussion.
