Fluor Unit Buys Firm

IRVINE — TRS Staffing Solutions Inc., a unit of Irvine-based Fluor Corp., said Tuesday that it acquired Phoenix Contracting Pty Ltd., an Australian provider of information systems and permanent staffing. Terms were not disclosed.
Chicago-based TRS, a supplier of information systems, technology and support personnel, said Phoenix will continue to operate under its current management in Melbourne, Hobart and Sydney, its headquarters.
