Standley to Coach at Verdugo Hills

Andrea Standley has been named softball coach at Verdugo Hills High, replacing Dan Balkey, who resigned after the Dons won the City Section 3-A Division title last season.
Standley, mother of senior shortstop Rian Standley, will be a walk-on coach. She has not coached at the high school level but has coached club softball.
