The father of a Maryland teenager awaiting an extradition decision in Israel was charged with obstructing a murder investigation involving his son. Prosecutors in Montgomery County, Md., have informed lawyers for Sol Sheinbein that they obtained a warrant for his arrest on the misdemeanor charge. Sheinbein remains in Israel with his son, Samuel Sheinbein, 18. The son was charged in September with first-degree murder in the death of an 18-year-old acquaintance, Alfredo Enrique Tello Jr. Tello’s burned and dismembered body was found Sept. 19 in the garage of a vacant house near the Sheinbein home. Samuel Sheinbein fled to Israel two days later.
