American Custom Components CEO Quits

American Custom Components Inc. said Friday that founder Tony Walk has resigned as chairman and chief executive. Walk stepped down for personal reasons, the company said. President John Groom has been named chief executive. He previously was senior director of engineering at Seagate Technologies. Walk founded the Santa Ana maker of wire connectors for computers in 1994.
