2 Meetings on City Charter to Be Held

Two public meetings on reforming the City Charter will be held next week.
On Monday, the Los Angeles Elected Charter Reform Commission will meet to discuss public works and planning at 6 p.m. at the New Hope Baptist Church, 5200 S. Central Avenue.
On Wednesday, the commission’s committee on a more responsive city government will discuss the Los Angeles school system at 5:30 p.m. at the Department of Water and Power, 111 N. Hope Street.
