City to Consider Flying POW/MIA Flag Daily
- Share via
At the request of a veterans group, council members are considering flying a POW/MIA flag daily at City Hall instead of just on special occasions.
Bob Kakuk of the Vietnam Veterans of Orange County will donate one of the flags at tonight’s council meeting and ask that San Juan Capistrano join at least 18 cities countywide in flying it daily.
He said he wants to remind the public that there are nearly 90,000 soldiers from four wars who are still listed as missing.
The meeting will begin at 7 p.m., 32400 Paseo Adelanto.
