Fire Service Day Celebration Today

An open house, offering a close look at fire operations and equipment, is set today at The Joint Powers Training Facility.
The free event, in recognition of Fire Service Day, will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. by the Anaheim and Orange fire departments.
The program will include rescue demonstrations, fire engines, ambulances, emergency helicopters and the hazardous materials unit.
Fingerprinting for children will be available.
The training building is at 2400 E. Orangewood Ave. in Anaheim, south of the stadium between State College Boulevard and the Orange Freeway.
