Oil Leak Closes Street

Following an oil leak early Friday morning, Huntington Beach police closed all southbound lanes and one northbound lane of Golden West Street at Slater and Talbert avenues.
Oil began oozing from under the landscaped median center divider about 7 a.m., Police Lt. Luis Ochoa said. Traffic was rerouted onto Talbert while public works and oil company workers isolated the leaking pipe, Ochoa said.
