Courtesy. What has happened to common courtesy?

Children are not learning the basics of common courtesy from their parents. In fact, the parents don’t seem to have that knowledge to teach them.

For example, at a recent radio station promotional event, an individual was trying to mislead people in order to gain an unfair advantage in a scavenger hunt. My husband and I felt that this was wrong and we gave out the correct information.

My mom always said, “If you can’t say something nice, don’t say anything at all.”
