Foothill 39, Santa Ana Valley 37--Dana Pino-Dempsey completed 10 of 20 passes for 197 yards and two touchdowns, rushed for two touchdowns and also intercepted two passes for the Knights (5-4, 3-1) at Santa Ana Stadium.
With five minutes remaining, Aaron Barragan caught a 45-yard touchdown pass from Miguel Guerrero to bring Santa Ana Valley (3-5-1, 1-2-1) within, 39-37, but Jordan Parsons knocked down the two-point conversion pass attempt.
Hardy Fatu rushed for 134 yards and four touchdowns in 21 carries for the Falcons.
