HUNTINGTON BEACH

Residents can give their opinions to the Community Services Commission this week about access to parks and beaches. Commissioners, who are meeting Thursday instead of Wednesday, will tender the concept of a locked, 6-foot-tall fence that would prevent people from wandering into apartments on Whitesands Street. The public could still get to the nearby park from Huntington and Delaware streets.
The meeting begins at 7 p.m. in the City Council chambers at City Hall, 2000 Main St. Information: (714) 536-5490.
