Blaze and Margo go shopping for some clothes for Blaze to wear for the job interview that Margo has set up. Blaze, who is a stranger to a suit and tie, gets huffy when the store manager assumes he’s there applying for a sales position.
Later, Blaze models his new suit for Lu Ann, who wonders what Margo is up to. Lu Ann offers to accompany Blaze to his interview at Progressive Artists Agency.
In the lobby, they are confused because the directory says the agent Blaze is auditioning for represents screenwriters. Lu Ann says the directory must be wrong.
It’s not.
Not only does Joe Kaplan represent screenwriters, but he wants Blaze to be his assistant. Blaze is not happy.
“Let’s get this straight, Blaze . . . in this office, my work is what’s important . . . not your acting career. Are you prepared to start today?”
