Bombs Found Near 2 Abortion Clinics

Explosive devices were found outside two Fayetteville, N.C., abortion clinics previously targeted by arsonists. A device consisting of several sticks of dynamite, a detonator and a timer was found near the front door of the Carolina Women’s Clinic, sheriff’s officials said. About three miles away, an explosive device was discovered outside the Hallmark Women’s Clinic. Police refused to release additional details about the devices. Authorities defused both devices. No one was arrested.
