Zoinks, Scooby, Tibbetts Is Your Guy

Scooby, Scooby-Doo, where are you?
Probably at Blake Tibbetts’ house.
Tibbetts, a Crespi High running back, has collected images of the cartoon character for as long as he can recall.
His Scooby-Doo paraphernalia includes stuffed animals, mugs, fast-food restaurant toys, action figures, and even a temporary tattoo.
He also sleeps with Scooby--his bed sheets and comforter have the mutt’s mug on them.
“Any kind of thing of his I see, I try to get,” said Tibbetts, a senior. “And everyone tries to get his stuff for me.”
Tibbetts, whose license plate is “1 Scooby,” wears a Scooby-Doo T-shirt under his shoulder pads during football games.
And he carries his money around in a Scooby-Doo wallet.
But don’t offer any Scrappy-Doo collectibles to Tibbetts.
“He kind of ruined [the TV show] for me,” Tibbetts said. “I don’t have anything to do with him.”
