Breakfast at Bobby’s

Re “A Winning Serve,” Jan. 30.
I have been eating breakfast at Bobby’s Coffee Shop for over 32 years and want to congratulate staff writer Scott Glover for his article on this landmark restaurant in Woodland Hills. There is, however, one correction that needs to be made in the story.
In his opening paragraph, Glover calls Bobby’s, “a greasy breakfast joint.” Let the facts speak for themselves: Bobby’s is no franchise operation. The service and breakfasts are beyond comparison, and it is the best “greasy breakfast joint” in Los Angeles, which is why it is still around after 50 years.
