The city is seeking nonprofit groups to pick up litter at 24 parks and playgrounds. In exchange for 17 weeks of work, the city will pay each group $325. To be part of the “Adopt-a-Park” program, groups must turn in their application by 5 p.m. Jan. 21 at Fullerton City Hall, 303 W. Commonwealth Ave. Information: (714) 738-6581.
