The Newport Beach company, which provides management proposals, reported that net income climbed 69% to $2.2 million, or 13 cents a share, from $1.3 million, or 10 cents a share, for the same period a year earlier. The 1998 figure included losses associated with the discontinuation of its Staminet operation. Revenue more than doubled to $24.6 million from $10.3 million. Net income for the year advanced to $8 million, or 50 cents a share, from $4.8 million, or 37 cents a share, for 1997. Revenue increased 85% to $68.4 million from $37 million.
