Procter & Gamble Reassigns 5 Accounts

Procter & Gamble Co., the world’s biggest advertiser, said it is moving the five product advertising assignments managed by Euro RSCG Worldwide, a unit of Paris-based Havas Advertising, to other global agencies as it consolidates advertising relationships. P&G; said Euro RSCG will lose responsibility for its Head & Shoulders shampoo in North America, Old Spice toiletries in North America and Europe, Mr. Clean cleaning solvent in the U.S., Metamucil fiber supplement in the U.S. and Europe, and Clearasil blemish cream in North America and Europe. New agencies include Saatchi & Saatchi, Grey Advertising Inc. and Leo Burnett Inc. P&G; said it will maintain its relationship with U.S. advertising agency Jordan McGrath Case & Partners, which Euro RSCG agreed to acquire last week. P&G; shares rose $1.94 to close at $85.56 on the NYSE.
