City officials have decided to ask the state Supreme Court to reconsider a lower court’s ruling that the city’s building moratorium is too prohibitive. More than a year ago, the city placed a freeze on residential projects with more than 50 homes and commercial developments of more than 10 acres. The 4th District Court of Appeal ruled that the city must begin at least processing development applications. Information: (949) 493-1171.
