State regulators will host a public round-table discussion tonight in Glendale to review ways to solve California’s nagging area code problem. The meeting will be held from 7 to 10 p.m. at the Glendale Civic Auditorium, 1401 N. Verdugo Road. Josiah Neeper, a member of the California Public Utilities Commission, will attend. During the first hour, consumer representatives, elected officials, Internet service providers, local businesses and phone company representatives will offer their views on area code overlays, area code splits and new area codes. A question-and-answer session with the audience will follow.
