The City Council recently decided to use a mix of queen palms and bottle trees for the $300,000 Doheny Park Road street-scape project. The trees will be planted along Doheny Park Road from Las Vegas Avenue to the northern city limits. Road improvements for Las Vegas Avenue and Victoria Boulevard will cost an additional $974,600.
