The City Council on Wednesday will consider establishing a planning advisory committee to assist it in reviewing proposed projects. The advisory committee would not assume responsibilities normally handled by the city’s Planning Commission. Those responsibilities would still lie with the council, which doubles as the Planning Commission. The council meets at 2 p.m. in the Leisure World administration building boardroom, 23522 Paseo de Valencia. Information: (949) 832-4388.
