* At the Contemporary Arts Museum, 5216 Montrose Blvd., “Sam Reveles: Recent Paintings and Drawings” is on display through June 20. His work in the 1990s has been heralded as a new direction for painting, synthesizing techniques from Abstract Expressionism and Old Master paintings. Free.
