Five local teens have joined the ranks of Eagle Scouts. Darren Fraser, Jared Kettler, Steven Lucy, Bryan Pauley and Evan Price--members of Troop 705--have all earned the Boy Scouts of America’s highest honor and will be recognized for their achievement at 3:30 p.m. June 6 at St. Edward’s Catholic Church. Among the projects the five new Eagle Scouts built were a picnic bench for the city of San Clemente, bookcases at St. Edward’s School, and a wall at the Boys & Girls Club of San Juan Capistrano. They also redesigned a landscape slope at Palisades United Methodist Church and stenciled storm drains in San Clemente.
