** Texas, “The Hush,” Universal Records. Swirling pop, soul, funk and folk into lush, bittersweet mid-tempo ballads and playfully sexy dance tunes, this group from Glasgow evokes the days when the Artist was still known as Prince. Songs such as “In Our Lifetime,” which recalls TLC’s “Creep,” are pure ear candy. Yet too many tracks are just simply not very satisfying.
