ANAHEIM

The City Council recently approved a construction permit for a self-storage facility at Pullman Street and Old Canal Road, despite objections from an Anaheim Hills residents group. Last month, Stefanie Perry of Concerned Citizens of the Canyon persuaded the council to reconsider the permit application, pointing out that Anaheim already has more than 23 self-storage businesses with about 15,000 individual units available. The council agreed to her request, but upon reconsideration, gave the go-ahead on the project.
