The City Council this week awarded a bid to Beylik Drilling Inc. to refurbish one of the largest wells in the city. The city will pay the company as much as $30,000 to clean up Holder Well, 9120 Holder St. The well produces 1,500 gallons of water per minute but could produce as much as 2,000 gallons per minute once it is cleaned, officials said.
