Short Trip for Poly, Chatsworth

Top-seeded Chatsworth High and third-seeded Poly will play City Championship baseball semifinal playoff games near home Tuesday.
Chatsworth (25-3) will face No. 12 South Gate (20-11) at Birmingham High.
Poly (24-7), which eliminated defending champion El Camino Real in the quarterfinals, will take on No. 10-seeded Kennedy (18-15) at Valley College. The Golden Cougars upset No. 2 Banning in their quarterfinal game.
In a City Division semifinal, top-seeded Carson (18-14-1) will play No. 4 Cleveland (13-15) at El Camino College.
All of the games begin at 3 p.m.
The winners will advance to the championship games Thursday night at Dodger Stadium.
The Division final will be played at 4 p.m. and the Championship final follows at 7:30.
